Video: The Koenigsegg Jesko Attack set a Lap Record
The Jesko Attack set a lap record for homologated production cars at Laguna Seca Raceway on August 18th, 2024.
The 3.6 km (2.2 miles) Laguna Seca circuit is famous for its complex corners and dramatic elevation changes, including the notorious Corkscrew, which demands precision and performance from any car daring to conquer it.
The Koenigsegg Jesko Attack has set a new standard with an astonishing lap time of 1:24.86, clocked using Racelogic.
This model is named in honour of Jesko von Koenigsegg, the father of the company's founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg.
Koenigsegg states "They feature a redesigned 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 1280 hp on standard gasoline and 1600 hp onE85 biofuel (in some markets) alongside the revolutionary new 9-speed Koenigsegg Light Speed Transmission (LST)system. Advanced aerodynamics offers over 1000 kg of downforce, making it the ultimate track weapon."
