Top Golfers Set to Compete at the Porsche Singapore Classic
Top golfers, including Paul Casey, Robert MacIntyre, and Jimmy Walker, headline the 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic at Laguna National.
The Porsche Singapore Classic returns to Laguna National Golf Resort Club from 20 to 23 March 2025, promising a top-tier field of international and Asian golfing stars.
Leading the charge is multiple-time tour winner and Porsche Brand Ambassador Paul Casey, alongside Scotland’s rising star Robert MacIntyre and Major champion Jimmy Walker.
MacIntyre, a two-time US PGA Tour winner in 2024, is eager to compete once more. “I’m really excited to be playing in the Porsche Singapore Classic this year. The fans were amazing last time, and Laguna National is a great course to start the season’s Asian Swing,” he says.
Casey, a three-time Ryder Cup winner, is also eyeing the title after a strong performance last year. “I am excited to return to Singapore for the Porsche Singapore Classic,” he says. “You don’t often get the chance to be part of a premium event like this, which I am looking forward to. I simply love it here!”
Joining them is 2016 PGA Championship winner Jimmy Walker, who has fond memories of Porsche-sponsored events. “Porsche has been a fantastic supporter of golf, and I’ve experienced that firsthand at the Porsche European Open in Germany,” says Walker. “I’m looking forward to another great week in Singapore.”
Several top Asian players will be vying for the title, including China’s Haotong Li, Malaysia’s Gavin Green, and Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat. Singaporean amateur Brayden Lee has also secured a spot after winning a local qualifier, adding a homegrown element to the competition.
A hole-in-one on the 17th hole will reward a lucky player with a Porsche Taycan Turbo S in Oak Green Metallic. Spectators can also take part in the Porsche Taycan Challenge at the Public Village, with the best performers earning a shot at winning the car in a Sunday shootout.
Porsche has been actively involved in golf since 1988, supporting both amateur and professional events worldwide. Alongside its role as the title sponsor of the Porsche European Open in Germany, it expanded into the Asian market in 2024 with the Porsche Singapore Classic. The brand also sponsors prestigious tournaments on the US PGA and DP World Tours, further cementing its presence in the sport.
