TAG Heuer, renowned for its excellence across all areas of motorsport, from Formula 1® to endurance racing and historical events, is thrilled to announce its partnership with F1 ACADEMY™ in 2025 as an Official Partner and the series' Official Timekeeper.

“The values of F1 Academy perfectly reinforce the commitments and ideals of TAG Heuer, where innovation and performance are on par with our egalitarian spirit and our openness to all. We are honoured to continue our indelible connection to motor racing by becoming Official Partner and Official Timekeeper of F1 Academy,” - Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer

F1 ACADEMY is a race series based on the Formula 4 specification, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of female racing talent and increasing female representation in motorsport. Since its inception in 2023, the series has provided an exceptional platform for female drivers to compete alongside Formula 1, as well as offering comprehensive support for their progression to higher levels of racing.

In 2025, the F1 ACADEMY calendar will feature races across seven countries on three continents, taking place at iconic circuits including Shanghai, Jeddah, Miami, Montreal, Zandvoort, Singapore, and Las Vegas. This international series promises thrilling action and fierce competition, with renowned teams such as PREMA, Campos, Rodin, MP, ART GP, and Hitech competing alongside Formula 1.

The F1 ACADEMY car, manufactured by Tatuus and featuring a livery designed by TAG Heuer, is specifically engineered to balance performance, safety, and driver development. It serves as an ideal platform for young racers to advance through the motorsport ranks. The car boasts a carbon monocoque chassis that meets FIA 2021 safety standards and incorporates advanced safety features, including a steel Halo, anti-intrusion panels, and wheel tether cables. Powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine from Autotecnica, it delivers 174 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 240 km/h.

As a premier training ground, the F1 ACADEMY car offers the perfect mix of speed, safety, and accessibility. Its aerodynamic design facilitates overtaking while preparing drivers for the challenges of higher-tier competitions like Formula Regional and F3. With a user-friendly power-to-weight ratio and reliable performance, it enables young drivers to develop essential skills in handling, strategy, and racecraft, vital components for those aspiring to ascend the motorsport ladder.

“We are proud to welcome TAG Heuer as an Official Partner and the first Official Timekeeper for F1 ACADEMY from 2025. This partnership reflects a joint commitment to empower female talent and a desire to accelerate change in our sport - it’s most certainly not just a man’s world anymore,” - Susie Wolff, Managing Director of F1 Academy

F1 ACADEMY also supports grassroots motorsport initiatives for women through the F1 ACADEMY® DISCOVER YOUR DRIVETM programme, a global initiative aimed at increasing participation in motorsport both on and off the track. This initiative backs karting programmes, including the Champions of the Future Academy Programme, helping to identify talent and create pathways for successful karting participants to progress to single-seater racing.

Among the emerging talents is 17-year-old Aiva Anagnostiadis from Australia. Coming from a racing family, Aiva began her karting journey at the age of six, inspired by her mother’s love for the sport. After achieving notable success in Australia and representing her country at the World Motorsport Games, she is now determined to become the first Australian female driver in Formula 1.

Aiva's impressive achievements include triumphs in the Indian F4 Series, a testing programme with Rodin and Argenti Motorsport, and multiple podium finishes in Australian karting championships. Her ambition and skill position her as one of the most exciting prospects in motorsport today.

The “TAG Heuer operated by Hitech” car, which Aiva will drive, and her race suit will feature the brand's iconic red, white, and black colours, symbolising the precision and heritage for which TAG Heuer is celebrated. Additionally, the car will be adorned with the phrase ‘It’s not a man’s world anymore,’ reflecting the brand’s commitment to championing and empowering female talent.
