Suite of the Week: Coco Chanel at Lausanne Palace
In this week’s "Suite of the Week," we step inside the Lausanne Palace to discover the Coco Chanel Suite, a luxurious homage to the iconic designer who lived in the hotel for several years.
Chanel's refined aesthetic largely inspired the suite’s design, with its serene palette of sky blue and cream tones. Located on the 5th floor, the suite features a magnificent balcony offering stunning views of Lake Geneva.
Spanning 170 m², it boasts a spacious living room with a decorative marble fireplace, a cosy plasma TV corner, and a dining table perfect for dinners and receptions.
The master bedroom includes a contemporary bed, while an adjoining office space and a 24 m² dressing room with an English shower enhance the suite’s luxurious charm.
The cream-coloured marble bathroom is complete with a bathtub, dressing table, and separate toilet.
Additional amenities include a minibar, a safe, and the option to connect to a Deluxe Lake room.
In terms of price, at the time of writing this article, one night costs approximately CHF 4,350 (€4,500); this is a bargain compared to the starting price of €40,000 per night for the Coco Chanel Suite at the Ritz Paris.
