Louis Vuitton Renews Partnership with the Australian Open

Louis Vuitton has reaffirmed its dedication to tennis and sporting excellence by renewing its partnership with the Australian Open. This collaboration, which began in 2023, highlights the Maison’s enduring commitment to the world of tennis.

As part of the partnership, Louis Vuitton has crafted bespoke Monogram trunks to house the tournament’s prestigious trophies: the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup for women and the Norman Brookes Challenge Cup for men. These exquisite trunks, lined with blue to reflect the Australian Open’s signature colour palette, feature the white AO logo on the lid's underside.

Handcrafted in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop, the trunks showcase the iconic Monogram canvas and a white “V” symbolising “Victory” and “Vuitton.” The blue microfibre lining pays homage to the event’s blue courts, while the refined details, including the AO logo, underline the Maison’s creative mastery.

The trunks debuted during the men’s and women’s finals on January 25 and 26, 2025, taking centre stage at the trophy presentation ceremonies.

Craig Tiley, Tennis Australia CEO, praised the partnership, emphasising its alignment with shared values of excellence, innovation, and respect for tradition.

Through these exceptional creations, Louis Vuitton celebrates its legacy of craftsmanship, audacity, and creativity while strengthening its ties to prestigious sporting events worldwide.
