LOEWE Opens New CASA LOEWE Flagship Store
LOEWE has opened CASA LOEWE Shanghai, its largest flagship store in Asia, featuring a curated selection of fashion and art.

LOEWE has launched its new CASA LOEWE flagship store in Shanghai, situated in the vibrant Jing’an district at the prominent intersection of Nanjing West and Changde Road.
The newly unveiled CASA LOEWE Shanghai covers an impressive 695 m², making it the largest LOEWE flagship store in Asia. This expansive space offers an immersive experience into the brand’s world, featuring a comprehensive selection of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, bags, small leather goods, accessories, eyewear, shoes, jewellery, home fragrances, and exclusive store products.

CASA LOEWE Shanghai reflects the brand's unique perspective on fashion, design, and art. Its striking architecture is characterised by a shimmering gold ceramic façade made from handcrafted and enamelled tiles sourced from Spain, creating a captivating interplay of light. Inside, a palette of white, brown, gold, orange, and green harmonises with marble, brass, glass, and oak. The minimalist yet textured design captures LOEWE’s signature blend of modernity and craftsmanship.

Designed as a vibrant collector’s home, CASA LOEWE Shanghai features a carefully curated collection of furniture, including Utrecht armchairs by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld and serene floating stone tables by Axel Vervoordt, alongside works by outstanding artists and artisans. The store showcases ceramics by John Ward, woven bamboo creations by Hafu Matsumoto, and Ernst Gamperl’s oak vessel, highlighting LOEWE’s commitment to exquisite craftsmanship. Vibrant paintings by Ken Price and Mahesh Baliga further enrich the immersive experience.

In addition, two more pieces will be added to the store in the future: the stoneware sculpture Chōtō (Listening to the Waves) by Japanese ceramicist Takayuki Sakiyama, which received a special mention at the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize in 2021, and the horsehair and stainless steel spheres by 2022 LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize winner Dahye Jong, commissioned for the LOEWE Lamps Project (2024).
