La Galerie Dior Presents: A Tribute to Peter Lindbergh
Discover a stunning exhibition at La Galerie Dior honouring Peter Lindbergh, featuring 100 iconic photographs celebrating Dior's timeless elegance.
La Galerie Dior at 30 Montaigne, a space dedicated to art and memory, invites visitors to explore a unique exhibition paying homage to Peter Lindbergh (1944-2019), one of the most iconic photographers of his era.
Organised in close collaboration with the Peter Lindbergh Foundation, the exhibit presents an extraordinary collection of 100 photographs taken between 1988 and 2018, capturing Dior models in his signature style. The journey unfolds across a series of rooms, offering a rich interplay between Lindbergh’s visionary imagery and the House’s creations, from Christian Dior’s earliest designs to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s modern interpretations, along with those of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, and Raf Simons.
Ten immersive spaces highlight images from celebrated editorial series created for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, alongside rare contact sheets and previously unpublished work prints. A standout feature of the exhibition is an exclusive project conceived for Dior—a remarkable New York street shoot from October 2018 featuring never-before-seen photographs.
This compelling retrospective underscores the profound connection between Peter Lindbergh and Dior, united by a shared dedication to celebrating women's timeless elegance and unique spirit.
