IWC Schaffhausen unveils the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX, celebrating its partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team.
As the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team prepares for the upcoming season, IWC Schaffhausen unveils a new timepiece celebrating its enduring partnership with the team. The Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team features a matte grey case made from lightweight, durable titanium, paired with a black dial accented by Petronas green details and a matching rubber strap.
Since 2013, IWC Schaffhausen has been the “Official Engineering Partner” of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team, which holds the record for the most consecutive Constructors’ Championships, winning eight titles between 2014 and 2021. As the team gears up for the 2025 season and welcomes new driver Kimi Antonelli alongside George Russell, the Swiss luxury watchmaker introduces this exclusive watch in honour of their partnership.
Following the launch of its first official team watch, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition “Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team” (Ref. IW388108) in 2022, and the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team (Ref. IW388306) in 2023, IWC now presents the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team (Ref. IW328210).
This timepiece boasts a 40-millimetre grade 5 titanium case, renowned for its exceptional strength-to-density ratio, widely used in automotive engineering for high-stress components like engine valves. The sandblasted finish provides a sleek greyish shimmer. Its black dial, adorned with printed numerals and indices in Petronas green, contrasts sharply, while the Super-LumiNova®-coated hour, minute, and second hands ensure readability.
The case back features engraved hexagons and the “Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team” logo. Inside, the watch is powered by the IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre, an automatic movement offering a 120-hour power reserve. Water-resistant up to 10 bar, the watch includes a Petronas green rubber strap with the convenient EasX-CHANGE® system for strap adjustments.
This sophisticated timepiece will be worn trackside by team members such as mechanics, engineers, and strategists throughout the 2025 season.
