Johnnie Walker, the world’s leading Scotch whisky brand, has unveiled its most ambitious exploration of blending artistry to date with the global launch of Johnnie Walker Vault. This exclusive new platform represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship, curating rare and exceptional whiskies to create unique expressions of luxury.

At the heart of this venture is the expertise of Johnnie Walker Master Blender, Dr. Emma Walker. Working from a hidden creative atelier beneath Johnnie Walker Princes Street, Edinburgh’s renowned visitor experience, Dr. Walker brings together a meticulously curated collection of rare whiskies to craft deeply personal stories. At any given time, the Johnnie Walker Vault houses 500 rare, aged, and ghost casks, selected and rotated by Dr. Walker from the 10 million casks available to her, ensuring only the finest whiskies are showcased.
Johnnie Walker Vault is set to redefine whisky appreciation through an array of exclusive products, bespoke experiences, and creative collaborations, celebrating the artistry and innovation that have defined the brand for over two centuries.
As part of this launch, a new Private Blend experience will offer a select few the opportunity to commission a personally crafted whisky. Dr. Walker will handpick meaningful expressions from the invite-only Johnnie Walker Vault, transforming them into distinctive and deeply complex blends tailored to individual tastes and inspirations.
For the first time, this experience is open to the public, with packages starting from £50,000. This includes an itinerary steeped in Scottish heritage, featuring Michelin-starred dining, a luxurious stay at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, and culminating in an exclusive blending session with Dr. Walker. Each guest will receive their bespoke whisky in a handcrafted crystal decanter from the esteemed French luxury house, Baccarat. Their unique creation will also be documented in the Johnnie Walker Vault archive, preserving their legacy within the world of fine whisky and allowing for future commissions.
Later in 2025, Johnnie Walker Vault will embark on a special creative collaboration, welcoming its first partner, a leading figure in couture fashion, to develop a limited-edition collection with Dr. Emma Walker. Further details of this exciting project will be announced in the spring.
