The upcoming Christie’s Collections sale will feature fine furniture, silver, and decorative arts from historic estates in London, New York, and Paris.

Christie’s is launching its Collections online sales series across New York, London, and Paris, featuring a diverse array of European, English, and 19th-century furniture, decorative arts, silver, ceramics, glass, clocks, and gold boxes from notable private collections spanning the 16th to 20th centuries.

The auctions will be available for browsing from 18, 19, and 26 March, with bidding running from 25 March to 15 April. Estimates range from no-reserve items to $320,000 / £250,000 / €300,000.

LONDON – Collections: Fabergé, Aristocratic Estates, and Fine Silver
The London sale highlights treasures from Britain’s grand estates, including Luton Hoo, Canford Manor, and Wimborne House. Among the highlights is Fabergé from The Wernher Collection, with imperial provenance tracing back to Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia.

The sale also includes aristocratic heirlooms from the Viscount Wimborne Collection and the Earl of Suffolk and Berkshire, featuring exquisite furniture, silver, and Old Master paintings. Additionally, pieces from the collections of Rudolf Nureyev and Baron Edmond de Rothschild will be presented.

NEW YORK – Collections: English and Continental Decorative Arts
The New York sale offers fine English furniture from the Georgian era to the 19th century, with standout pieces from Centuries of Taste: Legacy of a Private Collection and Property from a Distinguished East Coast Collection.

Highlights include a pair of mid-Georgian mahogany armchairs from Powderham Castle and satinwood furniture attributed to Matthew Boulton and John Fothergill. The sale also features exceptional silver, clocks, porcelain, and decorative objects from The Orange Blossom Collection and other esteemed estates.

PARIS – Collections: Chinoiserie, Napoleonic Memorabilia, and Gold Boxes
The Paris sale presents an array of chinoiserie furniture and objets d'art from an important private collection, led by a Louis XVI ormolu-mounted green lacquer secretaire once owned by interior designer Elsie de Wolfe.

A prestigious collection of Napoleonic-era decorations and memorabilia from the Murat family includes the Order of the Black Eagle and a rare tortoiseshell bonbonnière once owned by Napoleon. Additionally, the sale features an exquisite collection of gold boxes, including an Art Deco Cartier cigarette case marking the centenary of the Art Deco movement in France.
