Dior's Designer of Dreams exhibition in Riyadh celebrates 75+ years of elegance, creativity, and the House's deep ties with Saudi Arabia.
Dior honours its enduring connection with Saudi Arabia through the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams exhibition, showcased at the Saudi National Museum in Riyadh from November 21, 2024, to April 2, 2025. Part of Riyadh Season 2024, this extraordinary event celebrates over 75 years of the Maison's visionary creativity.
Originally curated for the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris by Florence Müller and scenographer Nathalie Crinière, the retrospective offers an immersive journey through Dior’s legacy. Visitors can explore iconic milestones, from the mythic 30 Montaigne address to portraits of Dior’s creative directors by artist Yan Pei-Ming. Highlights include a vibrant tribute to the Sixties, the debut of Miss Dior and the House’s first ready-to-wear line, and the enchanting Colorama, showcasing Dior’s accessories in a captivating display.
The exhibition also shines a spotlight on the iconic Lady Dior bag through the Dior Lady Art project and celebrates the shared admiration between Dior and Saudi Arabia for nature's beauty. A special section dedicated to the Al-'Ula oasis features stunning dresses in radiant desert-inspired hues, evoking the harmony of the natural world.
A true celebration of timeless elegance and innovation, this exhibition invites visitors on a magical journey through the dreams that have defined Dior’s history.
