Cartier’s Groundbreaking Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Cartier is delighted to reveal the Women’s Pavilion, a key part of the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan. This unveiling is part of an ongoing initiative to honour the trailblazers who are shaping the future, with a special focus on the vital contribution of women in advancing global progress, promoting equality, and inspiring future generations.
Located within the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, the Women's Pavilion will be open to the public from 13 April to 13 October 2025. The pavilion’s striking façade, designed by celebrated Japanese architect Yuko Nagayama, takes inspiration from traditional Kumiko craftsmanship, symbolising a bridge between the past and the future.
Internationally renowned artist Es Devlin serves as the Global Creative Lead, creating a unique, immersive experience inside the pavilion.
At its heart, the pavilion showcases a powerful manifesto that envisions a brighter future where all people, regardless of gender, live in true equality and harmony. It is a vision of a world built on mutual respect, where every individual has the opportunity to realise their full potential.
