Applications Now Open for Louis Vuitton's 2nd Watch Prize
La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, the Maison’s Swiss-based watchmaking workshop, proudly hosts a prestigious prize celebrating innovation, craftsmanship, and creativity in horology. The initiative aims to recognise exceptional talent and foster excellence among watchmakers worldwide.
The inaugural edition saw an overwhelming response, with over 1,000 entries from artisans across 15 countries. Swiss watchmaker Raúl Pagès emerged as the winner for his remarkable RP1 - Régulateur à Détente timepiece, reflecting Louis Vuitton’s dedication to advancing the art of watchmaking by championing visionary creators.
For the upcoming edition, submissions are open until April 15, 2025. A panel of experts will unveil a list of 20 semi-finalists in July, narrowing it down to five finalists by November. The winner, to be announced in February 2026, will be awarded €150,000, along with personalised mentoring and strategic guidance from La Fabrique du Temps to bring their project to life.
