The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour commenced spectacularly in Doha, marking the start of a new season of elite equestrian sport. Held at the stunning Longines Arena at Al Shaqab from 27 February to 1 March, the event showcased top-tier show jumping talent.

As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the series, Longines recorded the outstanding victory of Belgium’s Abdel Said aboard Bonne Amie in the highlight event of the weekend, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha.

The 2025 edition of the Longines Global Champions Tour continues its tradition of being one of the premier individual show jumping circuits, bringing together the finest equine and human athletes from across the globe. The tour spans prestigious destinations in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, beginning in Doha and making stops at iconic venues such as Mexico City, Monaco, Paris, Shanghai, and more.

The season will culminate in Prague, where the winners of each Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix will compete in the ultimate showdown at the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix.

As the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper, Longines captured Abdel Said’s remarkable triumph in the Grand Prix of Doha on Saturday. The Belgian rider displayed exceptional skill and precision on a challenging course, securing victory under intense competition. Following closely behind, Daniel Deusser on Gangster v/h Noddevelt and Abdulrahman Alrajhi on Ventago claimed second and third place, delivering exhilarating performances that thrilled the audience. To honour his achievement, Longines presented Abdel Said with a refined Longines timepiece.

Longines proudly showcased the Official Watch of the event, a sophisticated chronograph from the Conquest collection. Designed to embody boldness, timeless style, and sporty elegance, this timepiece is powered by an exclusive Longines self-winding mechanical movement, featuring a silicon balance spring and innovative non-magnetic components.
